Payment

Bookings up to £100 are paid in full when you book. Above that, a deposit of 50% secures your booking and the balance is due 30 days before arrival, charged to the card you booked with; we remind you 7 days beforehand. Bookings made within 30 days of arrival are paid in full at the time of booking. Cash or card is accepted on arrival for walk-in guests.

Changes and cancellations

You can cancel, arrive later or leave earlier using the link in your confirmation email. Nights you give up are refunded on the same terms as a cancellation. To add nights or people, ring or email us.

What counts is the size of the booking in bed-nights: every bed you hold, including empty beds in a private room, times the nights.

• Small bookings, up to 4 bed-nights (for example one or two people for a night or two): cancel any time up to the day before arrival for a full refund. On the day of arrival there is no refund.
• Larger bookings: 100% refund with 14 or more days' notice; 50% refund with 3 or more days' notice; nothing with less.

A booking keeps the cancellation terms it was made under: if these change later, the dates in your confirmation email still apply.

Because a booking is for particular dates, the 14-day cancellation period that applies to many things bought online does not apply to it. The terms above are what apply instead.

Arrival and departure

Guests may arrive between 5pm and 10pm and we ask guests to leave by 10:30am to allow time for cleaning.

Property and valuables

As the property is unstaffed the bunkhouse cannot be responsible for the loss or damage of guests' property.

Smoking

This is a non-smoking bunkhouse.

Pets

We do not accommodate pets, but assistance dogs are always welcome.
